The carriage assembly is at the heart of the
Momus CNC design. Its unique configuration
allows the centerlines of the gantry axis and Z
axis to nest very close together. This reduces
forces on the machine that could otherwise
cause deflection and flexing, which would result
in a less accurate performance.
